Work begins at the Old Library

12th July 2017

Work began this week on demolishing the former Cheltenham Road Library in preparation for a new mansion-style development of 36 modern apartments with communal gardens and secure, underground parking.

The Old Library promises contemporary urban living at its best, in one of Bristol’s most popular and sought-after residential neighbourhoods. With a choice of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, it will be a short walk from the city centre, with the shops and restaurants of Gloucester Road close by.

“The Old Library will be a stylish, modern interpretation of the area’s surrounding Victorian architecture.” says Simon Taylor, Managing Director of Autograph Homes. “It’s a private development over four floors, offering surprisingly spacious, contemporary homes right in the heart of the city, beautifully specified, integrating the latest connected home technologies.”
