Pledging our commitment to low carbon homes
23rd June 2022
As we celebrate our fifth anniversary, we’re pledging that all our future properties will be low carbon, designed with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind.
Our focus on creating sustainable, family homes, with our developments achieving EPC A ratings, means we’re leading the way in the region with our focus on creating homes that are not just built sustainably, but providing low carbon, energy efficient living for their residents.
Simon Taylor, our Managing Director, says, “The last five years have had their challenges, but I’m delighted that Autograph Homes goes from strength to strength. We firmly believe our style of homebuilding has a positive impact on local communities, and with low carbon living a priority, sets us apart from other housebuilders with standard housetypes.
“Around a fifth of carbon emissions in the UK comes from household energy usage, so addressing the efficiency of our new homes has been a priority for us. This has become exceptionally pertinent this year with rising energy bills and cost of living concerns across the country.
“We always strive to make every home we build fit for the future, including making sure homes have a limited environmental impact and are economical to own, working hard to bring new homes to the market that fit into our vision for sustainability.”
This commitment to the environment was endorsed recently with our win at the Insider Residential Property Awards in the Sustainability and Social Impact category, something we’re incredibly proud of.
Celebrating our 5th anniversary – and our move to new business premises in Frampton Cotterell enabling further growth – we invited friends and colleagues to a reception where they were able to hear more about how the company is leading the way in low carbon living.
