At Autograph Homes, we’ve pledged to support members of the Armed Forces by becoming a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant.
By signing the Covenant, we’re joining other businesses and organisations across the UK in their support for the Armed Forces Community. In particular, we’re promising to support the employment of veterans young and old, spouses and partners, by welcoming applications from and guaranteeing interviews with veterans who meet the specific job criteria. We recognise military skills and qualifications in our recruitment process.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a public pledge recognising the value serving personnel contribute to our country. At Autograph Homes, we’re promising to uphold the key principles that no member of the Armed Forces community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services, compared to any other citizen, and that in some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate especially for the injured or bereaved.
We also promise to support the employment of Service spouses and partners, and support employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, accommodating training commitments wherever possible. We’ll also offer support to local cadet units, with training commitments and by supporting worthwhile projects. We’ll also be offering a bespoke discount package to Defence personnel, details of which will be available in the future.
